What is a homophone?
eight, seem, need, and weigh are all examples of homophones. They are words that have a partner that sound like them but have a different spelling and meaning.
On your blog, try to write a sentence for each of the homophone pairs. Then write sentences using the rest of your basic spelling words.
Make sure to publish your post.
After you publish yours sentences, visit a classmate's blog and leave them a comment about their sentences.
