Day 3 - Vocabulary - Multiple Meanings
Find a partner and use a dictionary to find two different meanings for these words: save, mine, grade and note. You draw one meaning of the word, and your partners draws the other meaning. Share your drawings with your classmates.

Day 4 - The Long and Short of It
Did you know that by dropping the final e from huge, note, and cub creates a new word that has a short vowel sound? What about made, dime, tote and cute?
Get in groups of 4 and see how many word pairs you can come up with that follow this pattern. At the end of 5 minutes with will have a competition to see who came up with the most. Your team will receive 1 point for each one you come up with. If someone else has the same one as you, no one gets the point so be creative!
