Teach
We waded through the cold water with our backpacks balanced on our heads. I couldn't stop thinking about the waterfall.
-ed and -ing usually appear at the end of verbs.
-ed usually means that the verb happened in the past.
-ing usually means the verb is happening in the present.
Practice
1. Copy the bold words in to your notebook.

2. Find a partner, circle the -ed or -ing endings of each word
3. Decode the word.
4. Write down its meaning.
